One of the best-known is the Victory Theatre, which has recently undergone a $20,000,000 renovation and resembles a 1920's style theater. It is home to the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra and also hosts several concerts, Broadway shows, local ballet, and modern dance companies.
Another favorite location is the Mesker Amphitheatre, a scenic outdoor venue which seats 8,500 people. The Mesker Amphitheatre hosts outdoor concerts and special events, including the Mesker Movie Series, a summer event featuring outdoor movies shown after dark.
