Evansville Event Calendar: Evansville Indiana Events
Looking for something to do in Evansville? Our Evansville event calendar is the place to start. In addition to the many attractions in the Evansville area, there are several festivals, concerts, and exhibits held annually for the entertainment of all.
One of the biggest events in Evansville is the Evansville Freedom Festival held every summer to celebrate the Fourth of July. The festival began in 1970 with only a few events and has grown to include lots of hydroplane racing, airshows, food booths, dances & music, and finishing with a riverfront fireworks show.
Another major event is the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival, which draws as many as 150,000 people and has been compared in size to New Orleans' Mardi Gras. The Nut Club Fall Festival features a huge variety of common and not-so-common foods, including chocolate-covered grasshoppers and alligator stew.
Browse the Evansville event calendar below for a good look at many of the fun local events that the Evansville area has to offer.
